Car is an 07 Mazda 3 with the standard 6 disc changer.
Here's what I did:
Stock radio with Navone 4 channel LOC, Scosche MA03 and MA03R harnesses
4 channel amp for stock speakers (for now) and 2 channel bridged to sub.
So I've been doing the install all day, and I thought I was done. When I plugged in the stock radio everything works fine, all the speakers are playing nicely. The problem is the LCD is only displaying the temperature, but no radio information at all. Volume works, I can still change stations, CD plays fine everything works except the LCD. To avoid cutting up the factory radio harness, I used a male and female harness (Scosche MA03 and MA03R). I spliced the LOC into the speaker outputs from the male harness. I notice that the factory harness has a few extra wires that aren't there on the Scosche harness, so I'm guessing one or more of them controls the LCD display. Anyone know how to get the LCD to work? Anyone know how to get the LCD to work? I've been searching forever and can't seem to find an answer.
