Need Help!!!! Springs

Alright I've had my P5 for about half a year and I've only done a few simple things....I was wondering what springs would work best with the stock struts.The most drop I want is 1.5 and I have 18' wheels. I want new struts but I don't have the money.

It might be a little too much of a drop for you (1.8F / 1.5R), but Tein designed their springs to work with stock struts.
You may want to go with Eibach Pro Kit springs; I know of a few people running them on stock struts and have the drop you want (1.4F / 1.2R, IIRC).
Either way, a lot of people here will advise you to wait until you can get aftermarket struts.
I say go for it, as there are people are just running on stock struts. Should you blow one, you'll hopefully have enough saved up to go aftermarket.

Get a coilover suspension and tell people you've got hydraulics. (2thumbs)








Really...though...ditto on the Eibach Pro Kit springs. I had those on a car in the past for a three year period and the struts were fine.

I did some research and Eibach also designed their springs to work with stock struts.
I know of people who have been running that setup for 4 years going on.

you can also try Tanabe NF210 Springs or the GF210 springs
they are great.

is there a drop thread or spring thread? cuz im in the market for some springs and want to see pix.. if there isnt we should start one!

i want a low drop i found some Megan springs for 119 but i want to see pix. i think megan is 2.0/2.0 an tein 1.8/2.0 correct me if im wrong.

its 1.8/1.5 cause our rears sag so rear springs are longer.

I got Tokico Blues w/ tokico 1" drop springs but they dropped alot more than 1inch cause of those struts.

the msp springs will give a mild drop that will basically just level the car out a little. it will be alright with the stock struts.

you will need aftermarket struts for the megans. the spring rate is nearly triple that of stock springs and the struts werent made for them. tokico illuminas are the way to go if you get megans. nothing else will compliment the megans like illuminas

ehh im lookin for more than mild of a drop.. dnt wana spend money an time just for it to be a Tad bit lower you know?

i think im just guna go tein s-techs cuz i know alot of ppl are riding those with stock shocks an have been for a while.. an it seems to give a pretty good drop..
