Need help replacing serpentine belt

Got an oil change today and the dealer told me I need a new serpentine belt. I have replaced belts before but can not figure out how to release the tension on the pulley. Do I need to change both belts as well. A write up would be great. 2006 Mazda 5 with 1080000 miles and climbing. Thanks

Pages 208-211 of 'WM_01.pdf' address the drive belts. The tensioner is the topmost front pulley. Look for cracking on the belt and excessive stretch as indicated on the tensioner.

What is the schedule for replacing belts on mazda 5 gt 2009?. Bought it certified and i have a limited powertrain warranty up to 100000 miles. The last couple of days it has been cold outside when i start the car i hear a squealing sound which disappears when i start driving awhile. I dont know what it is but suspect belts. It has about 67000 miles on it. I assume belts are not covered by the warranty. What other issues should i look into?

When serpentine belts squeal, it's either because the belt is worn/stretched, or the tensioner is weakened. 67k is apprpoaching the end of life for an EPDM belt.
