Need Help: Lights messed up

well i got my car back from the body shop and I know the guy that runs the shop. He said he would try and fix my headlights. I put the mp3 headlights in my p5, and the first guy i took it too, cut my stock wire harnesses and tried to wire them up into the the mp3 harness. It completely messed them up. They would only stay on high. So I tried to fix it, and I got one side that is fine and the other is high. So for the past 2 weeks i have had 1 high and 1 low. I really dont know what to do. I am not the best at wiring but i probably could figure it out, if I had some guidance. Can anyone help me out, or at least tell me where i should go to get this fixed? Any help would be great thanks.

Off topic, but what did you do with your p5 headlights??

get a voltage testor and get somebody inside the car to turn on/off your lights untill you get the correct wires. I would assume that the colors are the same for each side.

those cheap 12v testors that have a point on one end are nice, because u can test the wires without cutting them.
