i have a 03 msp, fully built block, gt28rs, and i just got an ssftc installed, and thats when this all started, i had an ssafc before this but wanted more power. I drive about a half hour to work and back everyday and on the way to work when on the freeway my afrs are usually okkk, like 13.9-15. but on the way home from work i start driving the car and when in closed loop my afrs will jump from stoich to greater then 18 or whatever the aem gauge will read. and it will do this the whole way home, but only when in closed loop from what i can tell, ive been staying out of boost since, i have tried everything. replaced upstream o2 sensor, all my 440cc injectors, coilpacks, wires, spark plugs. if you guys have any ideas let me know, could the ssftc be causing it?

That seems to be the most obvious cause of the issues. When you say it ran fine with a AFC but started acting up after installing a FTC, I would imagine that either a) the wiring is wrong b) the fuel or timing maps you loaded are off or c) the general settings of the FTC are wrong.

the maps shouldnt even be interfering with closed loop operation should it? i havent messed with the timing map at all yet because i want to fix this problem before i do anything else, the settings i have the ftc on are gauge pressure, and i have the over pressure set to 1.1, so it shouldnt mess with fuel till after that pressure right? i tuned it myself and i would say the maps are pretty good but if anyone has a map that i could have for reference that would be sweet, i need to check the wiring but i didnt install it in the first place.
