I'll explain everything first;
As you already know, the pre-2007 Mazda6 models don't come with foglights in the bumper, they come with them in the headlight.
My GF has a 2005 Mazda6 hatch. When she first bought it, it had some mods, color matched rims, SRI, and fog lights in the bumpers. Of course whoever installed the foglights did a horrible wire job, it shot out her entire electrical and I had to argue with the morons at the Mazda who sold it to her, that they sold it to her WITH the fog lights on it, and eventually got them to fix it.
Moving on....
I'd like to get her some foglights to put in her bumper again, and since I know how to wire I won't do a garbage job the other guy did (which the service manager at the mazda dealer showed me, it was horrible)
so as it is I need some advice about this item right here:

Granted the listing says "not compatible with US models" but on the other mazda6 forum there are several people who have fog lights installed in the bumper.... after market kits.
I need to know if this will fit her car? I can remove the plastic paneling, install this paneling and wire it up....
I just need to know if it will fit. When I look at the pictures, the bumper design and shape appears exactly the same... I know they didn't really change the bumper until the '07 model I believe it was, and those started coming with fog lights in the bumper.
Anyone have any clues to as to whether or not this would fit? I'm hoping it's just a simple flush aligned fit, and if I need to modify it to stay in place, that's fine, but I want to make sure it'll appear flush in fitment.
I once asked before on the other mazda6 forum when I was going through crap with the dealer to fix her electrical, and someone who had bumper fogs on his 6 told me it was a simple eBay kit. I'm just trying to make sure this fits before I drop the dime on it.
did the 05/06 USDM mazda6's have the same bumper and car dimensions as the japanese and Euro mazda6s?
