Need Feedback on Mazda 3

Pros: Great power , 2.3 has good everyday tq for driving. I'd get better tires for the winter/rain. Lots of storage. Expect any where from 24-28 mpg with city driving.

Cons: A limited slip would be nice, interior smudges easy. No mp3 support, but I've changed that.

Can't speak for snow (and I hope I never can) but my 3 does great in rain. Onramp power - coming from a 3.5 Altima to a 2.0 3 took some getting used to, but it is pretty capable. I'd never own an automatic with an engine this small, but with a 5speed, it's satisfactory. You'll be a bit happier since you're getting a 2.3. I'm very happy with overall quality and styling - the chassis seems solid as a rock and the car handles really well for the class of cars it falls in - light years ahead of a Sentra or Civic. Exterior styling is excellent IMO, but I'm a sedan guy so that only helps you from the rear doors - forward. I was pleasantly surprised how rich looking the interior is (black) and how big and substantial the dash is with it's multiple textures and the overall layout. (The Altima made me really like having a deep dashboard). If a compact is what you're in the market for, I don't see anthing else that comes close. Mazda is blowing Toyota, Honda and Nissan away with this combination of performance and good looks. Owning a TT Corvette, you might be interested in what's probably going to be a huge aftermarket performance market for this car...a supercharger on this 2.0 would make it perfect, IMO.

Just trying to get some feedback on the pros and cons of the Mazda 3. Gas mileage, Rain and Snow driving impressions, etc. Please tell me what you guys think. Thanks Guys!

Great small car I think. If you get one you're not just another Corrola or Civic on the road either. This makes it easier, and more rewarding, to find in the parking lots. Interior/exterior styling is best in price range imho. Lots of good color choices. Fairly quick, especially for it's class and handles and breaks well too. HUGE glovebox. Steering wheel that adjusts in/out not just up/down. S model comes pretty well loaded up. too.

I came from a full size Bronco to the 3 and I love it. Handles like a go-kart, plenty of good torque and great mileage. The 17's took a bit of getting use to (you feel everything, I guess that's both good and bad). But in general it's a great car for the price. I prefered the hatch over the sedan. It comes with a lot of "options" as standard equipment.
