Installed the Nav on my Touring model down to the instructions and the GPS Antenna check shows NG and not OK like it should, anyone else have this problem?

Have you tried "Ask Jeeves"?

Just kidding!

Is it the factory unit installed in a CX-5 that was originally delivered without navigation system?

If so, no great loss. I never use mine because it's so awful.

Seriously though, sorry I can't be of any help.

Can't help but wanted to respond to Mike's comments. My wife and I took a trip to DC last Tuesday and used the built in Tom Tom following its every word. It successfully alerted us to every traffic delay. Just for kicks I answered yes (verbally) to every new option it found and it worked flawlessly. Maybe it's the latest updates as I was expecting the worst. It also found every traffic camera and which I thought is a pretty cool feature.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with the choices it makes routing, my main issue is the extremely limited options for inputting routes. When you Enter an address it generally works fine. But a touchscreen that you can't "touch" to tell it your destination?? And no multi-segment routes? I could go on an on but, in a nutshell, this GPS makes me feel like I'm being held hostage, not liberated like other GPS's I have used extensively.

And "yes" is the only command the voice recognition understands more than 50% of the time.

Still have not come across a solution, think I'll just drop it off at the dealer

Did the dealer give you an explanation. I just installed mine and I am having the same problem. It was a text book install that only took about 15 minutes, but I am getting the "NAVI GPS ANT NG" message . . .

The 2014 model antenna is not plugged in behind the glovebox. You have to remove the glovebox and connect the antenna. No idea why it was plugged in in 2013, and unplugged in 2014...
