Nav system compass error

Hello all - I just bought a 2012 CX-9 with the Nav System and I'm having trouble getting assistance with the compass. It shows north and south fine, but when I'm traveling west, the red end of the compass is pointing to the right (which should be east), and when I'm traveling east, it points to the left (which should indicate west). Does anyone know how to remedy this?

There are two settings for the compass: direction up and North up. Sounds like you have it set to direction up but you want North up. You can change the setting in the Nav menu.

Just touch the compass to switch bwteen the two modes.
There is no real compass in navi system. It is all based on coordinates.
Unless there is a software bug, it would not go wrong.
What you described is correct behavior when you set to direction-up, which is what I prefer also.
