Nautilus horn on Speed3

Ok, I got the horn and I gotta say, the sintructions suck. I want to wire this thing up properly, without any shortcuts. Do I just plug the relay into the empty slot in my fusebox? Where do I find the wiring that comes from the horn button to hook up to the relay? Anyone have any detailed wiring instructions doing it the right way (meaning not using the stock horns wiring.) TIA
You have to mount the relay somewhere yourself. It comes with a tab with a hole in it. I mounted mine on the horn bracket itself. You use the stock horn wiring to trigger the relay. You have to run a wire from a hot voltage source to the relay, see two posts up for a possible place.

Ok, so the wiring should be using the wire that goes to the stock horn and should be...

stock horn wire>>>>relay>>>>nautilus horn
+12v wire from fuse box>>>>to relay

that right? any reason the relay can't go in one of those empty slots in the fuse box?

If you look at the fuse box, the empty slots don't have any contacts in them. If you can find the contacts that fit, and can crimp them without distorting them, that is certainly the cleanest. Also, the relay that comes with the horn doesn't have the same pin configuration, so you will need to find an appropriate relay too. If you find them, please let me know.

Wire like this:
Stock horn wire -> relay coil -> Ground
+12 from fuse box -> relay contact -> nautilus horn -> Ground

that horn still sounds weaksauce, hit up the intarwebz and pick up a $50-100 whelen electric airhorn module and siren speaker. 90% of the USA has no laws regarding the use of these and next time an SUV cuts you off, hit it and they will think a firetruck is about to plow them over. you can even pick up the one with the built in PA system for around the same price, then you can yell at them and let them know that they need to learn to drive.

Yer on drugz if you think that horn is weak. As for your suggestion, it's obnoxious, stupid and a waste of time. You actually think some truck driver is gonna care how you feel about his driving? (notcool)

That's the "BadBoy" horn from Harbor Freight Tools... and it's f'ing loud.

I just picked up a set of roof mounted air horns for free from HFT....
I'll probally mount it to my mom's Matrix to see how long it'll take her to notice it because there's no room under my hood.

Well s***, if you wanna go big, go with the Horn Blasters setup. Unfortunaltey, I can't find a spot to hide it under the hood of the MS3.

Oh hell no! Hornblasters uses actual train horns, which are quite long. Then you have a compressor and tank that would have to be mounted in the trunk due it's size.
