i think the charity idea is great. but i foresee a huge problem trying to get charities to ok a fund raiser in which a bunch of late-teen/twenty somethings (mostly male) drive across the country. that just smells like trouble.

And, depending on the air temperature, could also smell like stinky cheese.

yes daddy, we'll behave..i'm hoping by then my car is stable enough to drive for that long of a distance..me and a friend of mine we're discussing it the other night about possible charity endorsements..i just have to think this out and see what we can do..because this can create MAJOR costs..too bad we can't get a group of organizers together and literally sit down and discuss this..thats what this really needs.

example: Mazda Enthusiast Club; Quad 3; bottom middle

that was an example, i'll let one of the VP's or the president or founder actually post MEC up ther for real, that was so people have an idea what i am trying to accomplish...

Look, we need to get some sort of table talk going here with any volunteers..anyone who wants to SERIOUSLY participate in organizing this, PM me..When i say participate, be willing to discuss this event on a weekly basis, scout for ideas and help getting the group together on the forum, and in real life once the whole event takes place.. I want to do this right and put us on the map with this event..But make sure EVERYONE gets home safe and not in jail.

If you need any help, let me know. I have school, but I'll do whatever I can. I think a preliminary date of June 15 might be a good starting point, just for referance. We can bump it back if need be, but a date is needed, so theres my suggestion.

Also when we figure this out, I can try to pitch a few ideas to upper management at circuit city and arbys (friends working in the beurocracy (sp?)) and try to get something rolling.
