I'm technically on vacation...so I won't have "normal" net access until the 18th..19th...but in the mean time I'm just an e-mail or pm away ;)

Damn, I can't believe I just saw this... NICE! I would love to have my car fixed, and running right 1st!

Hook me up with a spot on the trailer. Maybe I can meet some of the BC guys on the way to the start point and then convoy down to WA for a sweet spot on that semi truck ;)

I'm serious. Tell me when/where/how/who and I'll be there. Ample time in advance like 2 months to prepare and notify me of the set plans.

Ooo..this is gonna be sweet.

Hey guys Im new to this, but what you guys are talking about seems interesting, Im down to drive cross country. It'll be a good trip for me and my wife. Let me know some more about it. By the way Im in the Army, so they have me stationed out in the middle of nowhere Ft. Riley,ks Which puts me in top middle of quad 5. It is rather lonely out here, Im like the only mazda familia/sport 20 out here...or protege 5 for that matter...

Update time.

Its kind of hard to tell a year from now if you'll still be able to do this, but I'd like to compile a list of people who'd be transporting their cars and thier locations. I've been talking to cascade automotive transport (they deal with primarly exotics) and they said they can cut deals if its over 4 cars per location. Your still looking at 300-400$ for transport however. This endeavor will get costly very fast. I have been thinking it over, and based on the number of participates, I can come up with an entrance fee. Unforunatey, some people would like to participate, but don't want to being at the start point. Thus, I'm going to work out a chart for different stage entry and its fee. Up next is the hotel fees and how many people and much time it will take to organize this AND keep it safe and well communicated..phew..lot of and's there.. Updates to follow.

It would be very easy to meet you guys somewhere in the NOVA or Mid-Atlantic area and have the cars transported from there. Then we can set up a time to fly over and meet the cars in Cali. I'm talking completely out of my ass since I have no idea about the finer logistics of this, but I'm ready to start planning.

That is exactly what I was thinking. A meet point somewhere, most likely virginia where we can all load up, and catch a flight out and trash a plane together.

How are the plans coming for this?? Any closer to defining your route?

(Don't forgot Omaha wants to play host to you guys!)
