Nashville Area Speeders?

whats UP!

yeah, i guess we'll let you slide. lol
What color is it? I saw a sweet one at the oaks a while back. It was clean as hell! Would love to get together and see what'cha got! Eventually i think it would be cool to get some sort of organized meet in the area with the mazdaspeeds. Dugger and I are in Smyrna, so we're right in your back door man!
Unfortunately, my car still wont be back on the street until sometime in march. I am pretty much trying to make an evo killer all in one shot. lol

I usually plan a Mazda Meet once a month. I just don't know about right now, it's cold as balls outside.

kicknmazdaspd is on the other side of the boro. I don't remember the last time you came up to Nashville with us though Blake, lol. His is dark grey. I know there is another dark grey one that shows up at the oaks and we usually have a yellow one with our group.

ok, cool! Yet another reason to get my car back on the street. The MSProtege that I parked next to at the oaks was orange. Wasnt able to track down the driver, but it looked super clean. I only know one/two guys that go there. One is a good friend of mind that drives a silver evo that is just f*cking insane! The other guys name is seth and used to have a speed3 but has a new bmw now. Never met him in person but he is supposed to be dyno tuning my car in GA once i get everything all buttoned up on it. Actually, the last time I went to the oaks, the cops came and ran everyone off because there were some idiots in there rwd cars doing donuts...there was even a dude in a stock grand marquis doing donuts. LMAO!!!

Yea I usually come to the meets and have been to dugger's house on a few occasions. I would like to see your car when it is running and if you need any help working on it I would be glad to its nice just to be around cars. My car doesn't have a lot done to it but I'm working on it.

that would be great! Maybe when the manifold gets here i will round you and dugger up to see if we cant get humpty dumpty back together again. Right now, ive just got a bit of wiring to do, so if you're familiar with gauge wiring and engine management installation, you are more than welcome to come over! Ive got the garage fridge stocked and the tools to get us by. Just wish i had air tools. They would make some things easier.

wussap wussap Mazdaspeed Protege in lavergne area right by food lion off murfreesburo road. there are a few proteges like mine around but u can tell its me by the mazda decals on the side skirts and mazdaspeed on front bumper. but a travel smyrna area alot but its hard for me to tell the diff between MS3 ans reg 3 lol!! but yea bro iam around. and i go to oaks usually but its been hella cold lately to go down there!!

yep, if i would have lived 1/2 a mile from where i do now, my oldest would have went to lavergne HS, so you are close! Hopefully someday soon we will meet up at a stop light. lol...(on our way to the track of course). ;)
this project is just taking much longer that i would have liked.

Don't rush the wiring lol. I'll take care of you in that area. When you get ready to put it back together I'll bring my compressor over with the air tools.

yea thats where i graduated from! whats his name i might still know him?! yea hopefully ill see u sometime around and get a little run in!!

I was just curious if it would work. If those engines work then it opens up my searching field for when I'm ready. Sorry if it sounded like I wanted to snatch if from you, lol.

I would not be the one to ask if it would work bud, sorry. Ken at ProtegeGarage might know the answer to that tho.

Hello, My name is Marsha Urick and I am from Manchester. And I have a 2008 Black Mazdaspeed3 and my husband Tim has a 2006 Mazdaspeed6.

Yo Dugger!!!

WELCOME to the community Marsha and Tim!!! I am in Smyrna (as is dugger_8) Congrats on the new speed3 and hope to see and hear from you both soon!

Yo Dugger! Word is that my manifold MAY be on my doorstep tomorrow (friday)!!! Hell, its been a LONG time coming! If I could at least get that on then wait for my fuel pump. I should be at least drivable pretty soon. Still haven't completed the standback install though. hehe Wiring has been run, just not connected. Meth still in the trunk waiting the deserved attention. If I dont make it to this next meet coming up, I should definetely be good for the next one!

Thanks. I saw that your having a get together this Saturday. How long will it last? I have to work that day.

Saturday is pending due to our chance of snow. I will definitly have something up by 10:00. They usually last a few hours (3-5 hours, depends).

I'm a former Probe owner and have recently purchased a 2008 Speed 3 Sport. Most of the Speeders in Ky are in Louisville and northern Ky. I'm originally from Alabama and feel more at home in Nashville than in Louisville or Lexington.
I'll be in Nashville Saturday to run in the Tom King Half-Marathon which starts outside Titans Stadium and finishes when you enter the stadiun through the tunnel, run out on the field, around the perimeter of the field and finish on the 50 yard line (side line). Then a Titans cheerleader places a finishing medal around your neck. Then we all go up to club level and eat free food while a local band entertains us. This is the best road race in TN. I'll probably be the only Cosmic Blue Speed 3 in the lot, and I'll park way out of course.

I am a former Probe owner too!! I am on the forum probetalk also. I also just recently purchased a 2008 Mazdaspeed3 sport but in black mica. My husband and I were just in bowling green this past weekend at beechbend drag racing his Mazdaspeed6.

Yes, I knew of the BB meet but I was out of town. You should let your hubby buy my 97 GT and have a project car. He has inquired about it already. I recongnized you from the post but did not want to "out" you as a former probe owner. I'm MY97PGT from probetalk. I still have my 97 in the drive and need to sell it soon or I'm going to part it out as the engine has "issues". I hope to meet ya'll someday but I seem to always be out of town or have to work everytime the probes have had meets at BB.

Well what a coincidence....but no on the probe. He has already put $10,000 in one before. But he sold it and Andy has it now. Plus he has already started modding both our cars. Intakes on these cars are a MUST.

SHUCKS! My probe was loud and I hear that the intake on the MS3 is loud. I want to keep it quite for know. Maybe down the road I'll put a CAI or SRI on the 3 but not just yet. Which intake do you have?

I have the Mazdaspeed intake and it isn't any louder than the exhaust. Now I can actually hear the turbo and it made it lots faster, especially in first and second gear. It also makes the exhaust sound quieter. And like Tim, I now want to ride with my window crack and the radio off...LOL.
