Well once again my Rear suspension is making an un godly noise. Well did the washer fix, that fixed the rattling. Took of my AWR swaybar that stopped the clunking. Now whenever I make a hard right turn. I get this ungodly popping/grinding noise. From the right rear side of my car?

how ungodly is it?

I have some creeks from the right rear side of my protege, and I've deduced it is merely wear and tear. I tested this by opening the trunk, getting in there and then bouncing the car with my two feet. maybe you can try that and see if some other noise (indicative of a larger problem) may be present.

I had a similar problem with my old civic - whenever I turned right, the left front side made this horrid noise. When I had my axles changed (CV joints tore up) the noise went away. I guess mileage just does it to some cars.

I'll bet you a hundred bucks it's swaybar related. I used to get an ungodly popping sound when I made right turns over off-camber surfaces. I raised the car up, and my right swaybar mount had backed out a little. I tightened it up and I never heard the sound again...

The Swaybar is gone. It was there before with the sway bar, just not a bad. So its only when the car leans. Obviously now that the sway bar is gone, the car is leaning more. Therefor louder noise.

I had the awr Swaybar on there. Took it off, in search off piece and quiet till I could get funds for a better set up. Didnt happen.

I get this same noise but it's from my front driver side. I opened the hood and find my strut bolts were loose, the noise has become less noticeable but it's still there. as soon as the rai lets up I'll check the rear deck.
