i did burnouts tonight, but not for long. i put the tyres in the water and dropped the clutch and didnt keep the car there....

what kind of tires, street tires? no need really to go into a waterbox and burnout on street tires(you can acctualy hurt your 60' times like that)

Andrew has a good clutch/flywheel too, which helps his 60' times. Andrew, if you have some drag tires, you could hit 15.3 for sure....

jeff - yeah i have toyo proxes t1-s tyres. i know with most street tyres doing a burnout doesnt help it actually hurts, but a 60ft time of 2.142 i got proves that it worked for me. also, the other reason i did them was because you couldnt get to the line without going through water.

gen - clutch and flywheel will be purchased very soon for sure. i'd hope with the fidanza 9lb flywheel i'd get to 15.3 with my current tyres. could even get into the 14's with slicks???

Whenever there is a meet coming up..there is that MTMA meet near philly at the end of august..i'll be there, i'm still breaking in this motor in..i'm on my 4th knock sensor..haha.

I leave at 3700-4000rpm's. Sometimes i bounce off at 2600-2800rpm's!!!! I learn this from a S2K, but work's better in the S2K!!! hehe

I launch at 4500(peak torque) and feather the clutch, shifting at 7400RPM.

I did a 16.1... lost the slip, and cant remember the other info, but hey 16.1 isn't all that impressive anyways.

I'll get more after the Thumper is installed, but this was with intake and exhaust, not much else.

16.1 is good for a P5 though. I've only heard of one of them in the 15s NA.
