Just about any modified tuner will end up costing more than a factory one. People sink more money into mods than it would have cost to just buy a fast car to begin with.

NA is is good route to go. It is more expensive per hp, than FI but it is fun to say it's all NA. Don't forget there is the 260 hp NA version of the 2.3 (developed by cosworth) in the caterham 7.
 
looks like a turbo off of a big rig diesel or something... that thing is as big as his engine... dear lord....
