I drained the tranny and took the cap off yesterday to take a look around so I know that's on tight. I noticed there's a "nipple" on the back side of the cap. Is that "nipple" suppose to move in any way?
On a side note, shifting is very notchy now...compared to when the tranny was a little low on fluid on sunday. This time I filled her up until she was oozing fluid out of the fill hole hehe. Could I have put too much fluid in her?
Later.
as long as it is level it shouldn't be an issue..
it sounds like you may have bent the feed tube in the center of that black cap.. if you push on it and it goes away that means that it is rubbing against the rotating shafts basically... so you need to bend that by hand to get it where it needs to be... just be careful. If you need pics I can try and find some but don't think I have any of that cap.
