He still has the intake...it is somewhere in the mountain of boxes we have left to unpack (new house). :)

I'll try to find it this weekend and clean the filter for you. I'll get some pics, too.

I just did a bunch of matineince work done on the car and got his AC installed and working
*fixed

Thank you so much Korey!!

There's a set of cams for sale that I'm eyeing.... I have the specs to them. Can I get the stock cams re-ground? Are they able to add material to the lobe?

That reminds me that my AC is f0x0red.....

It works 20% of the time... then the AC light goes out and it blows hot air.
Any guesses? (ac compressor clutch maybe?)

The A/C is definitely working, but it doesn't get as cold as the A/C in my car...and kind of feels "humid" if that makes sense. But it is SO much better than no A/C!!!

2,3,and 4
It always works on 1.

Any ideas?

Yeah that is typical protege AC controls. The go out after a while. seting 2 and 3 are most common but i have seen it done on 4. 1 never goes out though. Mine is intermitant on 2 and sometimes 3. At first with the light blinking i thought it was the system itself but its the actually ellectrical dash unit.

Mine was sometimes intermittant on 2, also. Drove me nuts, 'cause 1 doesn't cool enough, and 3 and 4 are friggen' loud!

I had the A/C control unit quoted from Protege Garage for about $180.

Mind you, this is a new 03+ OEM unit... it supersedes the stock one with the bad circuitry.

I'll just roll the windows down and enjoy 8psi of boost.
It's better than AC. :D
