so, here are some thoughts I've been having about the car:
- I'd like to make it a dedicated daily driver and use something else for autocross. I'm really leaning towards a NB Miata (99-00).
- So, I'll be "downgrading" some things on the P5. I want to sell the TEINs and put on something like the adjustable Tokigos with Ground Control to set my ride height and spring rates, but I'd keep the camber plates (maybe).
- I also want to sell the 17x7s that I have now, and use the 16x8 Rotas with 225/45/16 tires.
- I need to repair and selll the 17x7.5 Rotas, and refinish and sell the 17x7 Mille Miglias, too.
- The seats/brackets are gonna go, too, but I'm gonna keep the harnesses. I really want to get a harness bar in there so the back seat can be usable.
- Oh yeah, the Racing Beat front sway bar is gonna come out. I should have done more research before buying that. It ended up causing more understeer.
As far as the Miata goes, I'm not 100% what it's gonna do. I saw a 1.8 NA with ITBs in FL that looked awesome. There was one with a 13B turbo, too. But my favorite so far is one with a KL V6 swapped in with ITBs... mmmm. In other words, i'll be going from one money pit to another.
