I will mention one thing about exhaust. Even if you aren't planning on building a full race vehicle, spend the money to get the exhaust changed to 3". At 10 psi on my Focus (the turbo is soon to be switched to our PR5), back to back dyno runs show a 35hp increase at the wheels when going from a 2.25" to a 3". There are NA guys out there that spend 2-3 times the cost of a 3" exhaust for a 35whp increase and are happy to do it. A side benefit is that the turbo spools more quickly and you have more "area under the curve" which beats peak hp every time. Just a thought.
