My Proteg LX 03: No more replica parts!
Hell yeah, my Mazda is now out of storage!
For 2007, I got 2 options:
A- Run my optimised OEM turbo conversion (I have actually 65% of the parts) at only 6psi because I can't afford the tranny to be upgraded with clutch and LSD, plus leave all the rest as it is, including my damn replica parts (wheels and seat).
B- Change my replica parts for the real stuff and go on next year with a fully operating turbo/tranny combo.
I choose B! Plus, this option give me many advantages for the boost next year.
Da new parts:
- Bride Zeta III Sport (authentique; de toute facon, les copies sont des siges ajustables)
- Bride aluminium sidemounts
- Custom-made by Bride seat bracket (do I need to say this part is unique?)
- Weds Sport SA-90, 16X7, ET48 (A true Japanese wheel; a 16"in the right offset, is that possible?
)
- BFG's KDW 205/50-16 (not my personal choice but they came with the ber-deal. I'll run DOT race rubber next year, but a 215 is worrying me since I only get about 5mm of cleareance before hitting the big coil-overs...)
- RAYS Duralumin racing lug nuts (the only closed-end, lightweight, black lug nuts I truly like. Plus they gave me a touch of exclusivity!)
Can you say JDM lol?
And the remaining is the same as 2006:
Injen CAI
Ported/polished/VTCS-removed intake manifold
Custom-modified AWR header
Corksport Power Series header-back
AWR radiator
Stant radiator cap
AWR oil pan
AWR motor mounts and inserts
Motul oil
Cusco strut-bar
Custom-made JIC FLT-A2RS
AWR anti-roll bar endlinks all-around
AWR 21.5mm adjustable rear anti-roll bar
AWR rear trailing arms
Custom OEM P5 4 disks/ 5 bolts hub brake conversion
Hawk HPS pads (I hate them)
Rotora slotted rotors
Motul RBF600 fluid
Weds Sport SA-90, 16X7
BFG's KDW, 205/50-16 (not my choice but they came with the deal)
RAYS Duralumin lug nuts
Custom aligment specs
OEM Mazdaspeed Proteg front bumper conversion
AutoExe upper grill
AutoExe air dam
JSP carbon fiber hood
JSP carbon fiber trunk
Bride Zeta III Sport (genuine)
Bride aluminium sidemounts
Custom-made by Bride seat bracket
Autometer shiftlight
TWM short shifter
OEM ICE (light and thiefs don't like)
NOTE: The car is a bit dirty because it came right from winter storage and the wheels/tires are not chirurgically-clean either because they were in shipping wrapping hours ago. So be nice!
