holy crap that is a lot.. at least to me. My MSP payments are under $300, so I am happy.
living at home makes it easier :) plus every payment will be off the principal rather than interest and crap, and i dont spend money on much else

You might be able to get a girl with your EVO... but try 'taking them back to your place' L@L-!MA_H8R-J/K!!!
i dont think my girlfriend would like that :)

so you just bought this sucker this morning then.?????

How much upside down were you on the MSP when you traded her in?

i bought it yesterday morning. the total amount i owed on my msp was $1900 more than what they gave me, but part of that was the extended warranty that i purchased for ~$1000 and *should* get back, so really only $900

WoW dude! Evo looks so nice man! Congrats on the toy! Definetly a great car! I like it alot!!!!(thumb)

gap insurance no, and i just called the finance manager and he said you only get the whole thing back if you still own the car when the warranty expires, but you get part back if you sell the car before it runs out and mazda figures out how much. i'm guessing that any warranty work i had done will come out of what i paid and then whatever is left i get but who knows, im gonna go by tomorrow

try pricing it with the SSL package. a regular evo yes, invoice is $28,928 or something, the SSL package brings invoice to $32,230. i couldve gotten an evo for $26,333 but it wouldn't have been a comparable model

You should be paying 1000 dollars under invoice for old model year cars. Go to the evo forms, plenty of people going out hte door at 29 with SSL. Long as you're happy with it is all that matters.

Nice, a guy that autocrosses around here has an Evo MR... it is flippin' sick. Congrats :D

it also depends on the location of where you live. since i live in socal, the prices of evo's are normally a little above invoice. fortunately for me i was able to get it at invoice with a trade in more than what i owed. the dealer made 600 bucks off me, big deal.

as far as the brakes on the evo and sti. they're pretty much the same. i've test driven the sti and the evo's braking didn't feel any different. however, when i drove my car the first couple of hundred miles; all i experienced was brake fade. this was only cuz the pads weren't broken in yet. but it really grips right now. :)

hehe, it's so hard now :) i'm at around 50 miles i think, soon i'll be over the hump

don't take it over 3500 if you can help it. i was told it was ok to go to 5000, which i did a few times. also, try not to boost high. it was really hard for me too. the car keeps egging you on to press on the pedal a little more and more. blah. don't worry, you'll hit 600 in no time. oh, don't forget to change ur oil at 1500 miles. ^_^

i did check, most people who were getting the 0% financing were paying invoice or a bit over. there are rebates that are available if you don't go 0%, plus you can also get a $500 customer loyalty rebate which i am not eligible for regardless of the 0% or not, which some posted prices include. my price was definitely in the right area at $400 below invoice and i'm content.

i also noticed that some people are posting the invoice price of the car itself without destination in it, they posted what they paid, $200 below the invoice of the car itself, and then the invoice of the car itself, which was $600 below what every site lists as the invoice. so whether they realize it or not, they still ended up paying about the same price even though their number is less

amount down and trade in value (mine was negative) will influence price as well, so there's a lot to account for when comparing prices

it's soooo hard, i dont think im doing too well at below 3500. not that im going real hard on it but it just jumps and gets up there real quick. i don't really go more than half throttle though but still the boost builds. i should just keep driving til i get to 500 miles :)
