my new mazdaspeed 3

Everyone wishes their car was a little faster, that is what the aftermarket is for. Could you honestly say it should be faster for the money? Congrats and hope you continue to enjoy it.

i'd say leave it alone and get yourself a crotch rocket. that way you won't worry about how fast your car is because whenever you hop on a bike you're faster than pretty much anything else on the road.

when i had my gixxer i didn't care about compairing the car i had to any other car that was faster, i just knew that i would destroy everything when i rode the bike. after that, whatever evo or sti or vette or anyhthing that would give me trouble in my car i would just hit them back up when i got on the gixxer and feel better

Welcome to the forums. Check out the regional section for the MI group, we have quite a few meets.

I want to get a bike myself but don't need it right now the bike or myself mite not last long if I get it now too young.

nice dude, I got a silver one as well. turn off the dsc and itll be faster haha

Welcome and congrats on the new ride. There's a pretty active group in SE MI, hopefully we'll see you around.

I agree with Oaklandopen. If ya own / have driven a Crotch Rocket.... the speed of four wheels is of a lesser importance. BUT....BUT MS3 is good on all sides... HP /Luxury/Stylish... 2010 models...eck to the Front design!

Welcome! I have to say, this forum gets a little discouraging with some of the complaints about the car. I have an 09, 3 months old and 10k miles. The car has been perfect. No problems, no rattles ( I drive on New England's crappy roads), no clutch chatter, smoking tubos, and all of the bad things people are saying. In fact, all this negative feedback made me paranoid everytime I heard something I was not used to. It has a noisy idle at times and sometimes the tranny is a little clunky but it was really just me getting used to the nuances of the transmission and making it shift smooth. It takes a little more finesse than my Mini did.....In any event, enjoy the car. I have owned eveything from WRX's to Audi TT, Mini, S2000, Si's you name I owned it but this car is masterful and one of most rewarding to drive.........Treat it well, don't mod the engine and use synthetic every 3-4k miles. If you noticed, many of the people complaining have either modded their cars or in reality just don't know how to drive machinery properly. You have to ask yourself, is another 10 or 20 hp really worth voiding a good warranty. The engine is powerful enough not to mention 280 ftlb torque is pretty damn good.

When bikes want to race I just ask them if they will hold my groceries, so they will not roll around my floorboard!!

That Quote is weak dude. Bikes are Bike Ryder's second/Recreational vehicles.... We DO own cars! Ahhhhh like a MS3... that is way I have account on this Site!

not always. For about 2 years I rode all year and sold my truck. I have a couple of other friends who do the same thing...
