BANANA OF FURY
is sexy. The ULTIMATE makes all the difference! It was released earlier this week, we ordered one of the VERY first sets and it got here today!!! Before you start doging it and saying that it wont work, etc...

up from 7 jumpers internal to 20! Now 44 wires to hook up (old unit had less than 20)...

features .... the biggest thing that i noticed was the change in how the Fuel Injector wires are now interupted to control the air/fuel ratio. Rather than trick the ECU into doing things it doesn't want by changing a map sensor input or air flow meter input, the ultimate is doing all of its fuel changes POST ECU! THerefore, mr MSP ecu doesnt know its been ****** with!

Analog IN/OUT taken from the manual These channels can be used on vehicles w/ airflow meter that uses a map sensor for boost limiter. (aka fuel/boost cuts)

Connect to throttle or accelerator position input to change feedback range or A/T shift schedual.

channel can also be used as an analog input signal only for monitoring purpose only

VSS eliminate speed cut! or use for the vehicle speed adjustment map. Also used to data log vehicle speed

CRANK/CAM signals recognizes signal from crank and cam angle if there are no tach signal output from the ECU. also w/ connection ignition timing can be data logged.

KNOCK1-2 or Water Temp, Intake Temp signals
connect to ECU knock, water temp, or intake temp to monitor them

If connected to the water or intake temp, temp condition can be set to trigger relays or relay channels!

Relay outputs yes there are 4 of them these can trigger pretty much anything from the looks of it ... water injection? ... turned on when the intake temp gets to hot? .... extra fan when the temp switch hits a certain temp! ... this may work well in something like my SC MR2 where the IC is top mounted, and comes w/ an engine bay temp probe. adding a fan for venting may be a good idea.

Few more things:

this DOES have the ability to raise the rev limit!

Remove the 137mph limiter!!!

Datalog up to 1000 hours of engine parameters on the onboard computer!

Record output from any greddy gauges in your car!

individual cylinder trim for BOTH Injector and Ignition!

This does have an option for self setting w/ a wideband while in OPEN loop only though!

you can make changes in air fuel by vehicle speed, or intake air temp.

(this can prevent leaning out in high gears (i.e. like 5th gear where BrianMPT and BlkZoomZoom leaned out, detonated, and ruined their engines)... We can add more fuel depending on the speed of it!

there is a lot more to this, i can't wait to get started w/ it!

It actually has the Mazda Hot wire system built into it to compensate for the volatge readings on the air sensors, etc...

SOOOOO much cool s*** on this thing, it goes in on monday!

nice, it's good to see other ems tried....... good luck with the install........

wow i hope this works out. will this be better than the aem standalone and how much does it cost?

woo hoo I dont have to be the gueni pig :) haha

keep us updated man I am so tempted to swap mine for that as well

yeah if the emanage is around $1K, i hafta wonder how much this is!

looks awesome man, congrats!!

so, this will work with the FS series motor? It isnt listed in their pamphlet. SO since it is altering signals post ecu, then the FM voltage clamp is no longer needed correct? Just this some bigger injectors (or extra) and a wideband and you are golden? Is this what you are thinking?

It would be really nice to have somethinf other than the mpi that works and we dont need to trick the ecu.

Keep us posted for shizzle.

The FS is not in the Pamphlet, but neither was the owners IS300, and some other major cars. The owner is installing it on his IS300 tommorow, but he has to extend all 44 wires, so thats gonna suck.

As for what your thinking, that is EXACTLY what we are thinking. All this FM o2 modifier bulls*** shouldnt be needed, just his, some 550's, and a wideband. The stock ecu wont be able to reset and **** with tuning at all.

One other cool feature this thing has is that if you have a wideband installed on your car it will auto-tune WOT for you... EVERY time, in every gear. just set your target A/F's and watch it go... Sooooo many cool things we are finding out.

We are going to use one of the features on the Ultimate to track the 3000gt's intake temps, and then trigger the alcohol injection when it reaches a certain temp... I LOVE THIS THING!

Now that is pretty damn cool.

it does not use all 44, and quite a few of them you cut the stock wires and use connectors, there are some that you need to T into so you can solder those ones, use a wire tap, etc

but it will not mess up your harness much if you do it right :)
