My new CF wing.

functional or not, its entirely up to weaksauce if he wants on or not. I think it kinda goes well with the car imo but im just an ordinary average guy. lol
rock on weaksauce, rock on!

\m/

many have heard me say this before but im not a wingless fan, i think cars look much better with a spoiler. but urs looked awesome without a spoiler. i dont like the wing but if u do awesome. thats all that matters.

Like a few have said I'm pretty sure he tracks the car, so I'd make the assumption his motives are function over form. That being said I think it looks bad ass.

i wasnt hating at all, i love his car. its probably one of the only mx6's i like. very aggressive. that wing is just over the top. looking at his car. how low it is, the front lip and the rear diffuser im sure his aerodynamics are pretty good for the kinda speeds he is seeing.

Thread titled got edited?! Thanks bro. The back of the blade (higher end) is level with the roof line. Put a 2x4 across my roof and a threw a level on it, measured 49 inches. Measured the highest point of the wing, 49 inches from the ground. Only the front of the wing can be adjusted/angled. Nice sig btw

Sounds like your good to go then, enjoy it man you've built a nice ass car!

Shopping Cart Anyone.. dude WTF?? please tell me you take it off when your not at the track, i know that the wing would be functional on the track, but leaving it on there for day to day driving is just silly..

it's a FWD car, that spoiler puts down force to the back at high speed which generates lift at the front in which case you loose traction. you need a front splitter to take full advantage of the spoiler.

Correct, but this also happens with RWD cars. Just because they aren't drive wheels doesn't mean they don't need traction as well. This is why race cars also use front "splitters" to keep the front of the car down. A rear wing like this also keeps the rear end down under hard braking, which is essential when going into a high-speed turn.

Again, perfectly functional ON A TRACK, but useless on the street (I don't care how aggressive you drive).

I'll repeat my opinion. From the standpoint of a track car I think it looks pretty good. On a only- or mostly-street car it is absolute RICE.

So your saying the laws of physics change when not on a race track (uhm)

In an equal but opposite reaction to keep the world of wings in balance....I shaved my ass! No mo chopping kart fo U heeya! Aye no track, caw no need wing....enjoy
