The TR only comes with manual whereas the Regular can come with an Auto, sunroof, leather, spoiler, all the options essentially... I think they offer them all in 1 package. I thought the TR was only about $500 less on the MSRP.

I am lookin at new subbys too.... my MSP is pretty much sold. I like the 2005 Legacy GT but might be out of range. It has the STi engine in it from what I have heard, and the 6 speed tranny. Need to verify that.

Get AccessPort for the 06 WRX and let me know what the difference is like!

The Legacy's have a dual-mass flywheel. What are these? Anyone know?

the 06 wrx also has the sti engine just the internals arent quite as strong, still good for a nice amount of horse power though.......for a few k the 06 wrx can be made faster than a stock sti...nice little car, Im loving every minute of it!

i wish i had the lower end grunt of the 06's (and the 4 pot brakes and 17 in. wheels) but it was 4k more than what i paid for the 05. for 3k, i figured cobb stage 2 and some rota's and decent tires are probably worth it.

Yea it looks like Subaru is using the 2.5 across their platform now, with the STi having forged internals. But 300 crank is no problem for the standard 2.5, just need some mods and tuning.
The new face is growing on me. I actually like it other than the center of the grill. The rest of the bumper is nice.
