I thought about making some sort of allusion to that, but I quickly decided that this forum would not take it lightly...so I skipped it.

you'll feel a MAJOR weight difference if you ripped BOTH front seats out back to back... one power and one normal... yes, I've done that a few time on RX-8s... gut the interior to replace wiring

I would understand that but that's an RX-8 not exactly the same seats in the ms6 right? So we can't really compare that, I'd like to hear from someone who's taken out the power drivers and the passenger manual of their MS6.... I've driven the rx-8 the seats feel smaller, and I like that cause the side bolsters feel better than the Ms6's.... I hate those seats not holding me in place very well.........

But either way, my point was he's not really going to notice the difference in the weight driving around town.......but either way..... the sport and the GT speed3 don't have a difference in seats. both have the manual special stitched seats....

Thats great man, congrats! Oh and dont be knockin on the Cosmic Blue Speed 3. Its the only original color for the car. :P

Is it really?

I think the whitewater pearl would look pretty hot on the MS3......considering how good it looks on the MS6.

******* power seats are power seats, they all weigh a ******* ton!
I guess you're missing the point, nevermind....

Congrats!!

.. Was the stolen MS3 or the thief ever found in the end? Or are both still missing to this day?

No I got your point........and power seats aren't power seats........lets compare my f150's power seat to your rx-8s power seat..... you buy me lunch if it feels 10 times heavier than your rx-8 seat....deal?

I understand your point......power seats are heavy, I already acknowledged that, I SAID he wouldn't really notice/feel the difference while driving the car around town.........but he will feel the difference when he has to remove the seat from his car (drinks)

Congrats on the new car. How much did the insurance end up paying you?

Your sig fills my heart with such jealousy, I can't even stand it. Two of my favorite cars and I don't own either of them. I need to make more money!

:)

Both are still missing. The police and the insurance company hasn't been able to find a trace of either of them.

My best guess is this kid is laying low...real low. The car, has probably been cut into a hundred pieces by now...

I didn't like the 2006 GTO at all... Drives good only in a straight line. It weighs a ton too. Not worth it. I just looked at one before I got my 2nd MS3.

2006 GTO: best HP/$ and Torque/Dollar value on the road today. Stout motor cabable of BIG numbers. Handsome and under the radar styling, very nice interior thanks to its Aussie roots

Its not meant to be an evo or an MS3 corner carver. Its meant to be a road going grand touring rocket. A Mercedes Benz SL for the everyman. And to be honest its not horrible in the corners thanks to its IRS and well tuned suspension.

When you can get for for the same price as an MS6 (about $26K) its a HECK of a bargain!

Once the Pontiac G8 comes out, I will have no reason to lust after the MS6 anymore!(band2)

But I'll still me lustin after the MS3 :)

Where can you get a GTO for 26K? I couldn't find one for less than 29K and it had over 5000 miles on it. The few dealers that had any left were asking about 30-31K. I think it does have awesome power, but frankly the styling is boring to me. It reminds me of an Alero. They could have done so much better with that car. It looks like they put a great engine in a car that was an afterthought. The G8 looks sweet though! I can't argue with you there!

the 04 GTO above was bought for 22k with less than 5k miles on it a little less than a year ago. it is easier to drive than the ms3 because it has torque in every gear at every rpm but the ms3 is more fun to drive... more of a thrill. if i have to take a long trip the Goat is the way to go but for around town fun Speed 3 all the way.

LOL, seriously dude, who said I wanted it for auto-crossing? I just want an "american muscle" car.... so either the new GTO (6.0 liter only) or an old Chevelle..... (hell even the Chevelle SS)

I'm happy with my MS6 so I want some american muscle too (burnout)

You know what I REALLY like, especially the front end looks nicer....... the Vauxhall Monaro (the overseas GTO (stoned) )

I understand your point, but if I was going for American muscle, I could get a used Vette or Mustang for for the same price as a new GTO. (2006) Again, the engine is great in the GTO, I just find the styling to be horrible. It is the worst looking muscle car made in that 10 years. IMHO....

Yeah...the Aussie version is very sweet.
