9/30/10 UPDATE:
Hey all. Long time. Have not been able to do much to my car for while cause work has been a bit unstable. Got bored one night and descided to start modding my hood vents. Cut out the plastic hatching and replace with the same wire mesh I put in my bumper. Not much of an update but here ya go:

12/12/10 UPDATE
Alright. Finally got an update for you all. I did work on the car that night I mentioned from the post above but was not able to post my update till now. So I put on my light weight front bumper beam. Nothing to exciting but here we go:
The new and the old:
The old ways 26 pounds!:
The new would not register on my bathroom scale so I weighed it on my digital fish scale. lol Only weighs 7 pounds! :banana: So almost got 20 pounds off her!:
Got the new bumper beam on:
Since the fog light brackets were mounted on the old bumper beam had to redo the brackets and mount them on the lower radiator support:
Also the new bumper beam came with a mounting bracket for the license plate so decided to cut out the stock license plate mounting location:
End result is the fog lights and license plate are pushed back in the bumper farther which I like, frees up more space for more airflow to the car, and not to mention the car is lighter now! So all in all quite a good mod.

yikes. I'd be nervous about effectively removing your crash protection, but... your ride.

Yah the new bumper beam does not look like much but it actually is designed to have just as much crash protection as the old, just a better lighter design.

UPDATE: 1/8/11
Got another update for you all. Was able to get a Kartboy light weight crank pulley with some christmas money. Also put some new Gates belts on there. Yah nothing to crazy but here ya go. Just installed it today within 30 minutes or so. Onto pics:

All done:
Have not taken a test spin yet but impressed with the quality. Will let you all know if I notice any differences

Took a drive in the subey today on and off the highway with the new light weight crank pulley and noticed some small but amazing differences. A little more torquey(if thats a word lol) and seems to excelerate a little faster in the bottom and top end. Officially approved and pleased!
