My first dyno!

Whelp, I figured that after almost 5 years of ownership, it was time to put my MSP on the dyno!

I also wanted to get an idea of the numbers my car is putting down before I install my Unichip and 440cc injectors .. and to see how much HP was added through my 'bolt on' mods.

Here's what's currently on the car:
- MAM FMIC
- MAM SRI (K&N filter)
- PG single cast runner intake manifold
- Thunder exhaust manifold
- ATP WGA
- NGK ZFR7F-11 spark plugs
- Relocated MAF to boosted pipes
- Greddy Type-RS BOV
- Custom turboback exhaust (2.5" Corksport s-pipe, 3" everything else with one hi-flow cat)

My boost is about 8.5 psi, give or take a lil' bit. I also told the guy running it to not completely mash the gas pedal to the ground, since I was nervous about the stock tune making the car buck all over the place.

I think that a piggy back will get you leaps and bounds ahead of where you are.

Nice numbers though

Where you go to get dino'd the only one i know around me is Philly dyno
 
I like the fact that you actually have torque and power above 6k rpms. You will feel such a difference in the way your car drives after the tune, I guarantee you will love your car even more.
 
Yep, looks about right - I was right around there at 7-8 psi with the same mods. So why go with 440s and the Unichip? Last time I heard JDM Sam was having a hell of a time getting that particular setup to work. Secrets up your sleeves?

Who told you this? I recently tuned 440s on a car recently and it worked.

I just remember reading from a while back that you were having difficulty. I guess you got everything worked out? Damn, I really need to get myself up-to-date.

No AFR read outs -- there was no point, it went off the chart.

3rd gear.

They had a car show on my college campus today, and had a dyno there. So I said -- what the hell, haha.

Btw 190 whp at 8.5 psi /w out ems fantastic.
I didn't have a choice. The guys that ran the dyno weren't very .. personable. They did what they chose to do, I was lucky to have enough time to warn the guy about the spazzy tune.

Cindy, I just ran my MSP yesterday on a dynojet
and they did it in 4th. I was thinking it should have
been done in 3rd since it seems stronger on the road in that gear.
given a choice what would you have it in?
good #'s though! with the unichip @ 7.5psi, hard pipes,
and an Injen CAI I only pulled a 152whp ... I'm bum'in.
 
3rd gear is usually the gear used, or so i thought, normally is alot better as you hit the true level of boost your car is running in 3rd..
