Figured id share my little project for the lower corners of the front bumper on my 03 Sport. Wanted something unique as it was a pain to find any decent fog lights and wanted that updated look. I purchased this style led DRL set,

I then purchased two brand new lower bumper corner grille inserts from the dealer for roughly $5.50 a piece which is my price being i work at a dealership. I then proceeded to shave out the area where the light would mount. Bolted the light down. Then used fiberglass resin to fill in the trim up flush to the light so its raised and curved with the body. Here is what the resin before and then after sanding looked like.
I then used a CF wrap to wrap the panels...it wasnt a great quality wrap like the 3m wrap but it worked ok. Im gonna redo them later in the 3m 1080 cf wrap as it works better when molding with heat to panels like this.
Now, as for wiring, I wired them in using a relay and wiring tapped into the main relay which is a time delay relay that the body control module doesnt shut off until 3 minutes after the ignition is cycled off. It remains on with the key on. It uses its own fuse and relay with only the coil side of the relay triggered by the power leg of the main relay. Pretty simple to wire.
