My Choice of Rims: take 2

Sorry about the first attempt, my computer froze!

Here we go. These are a few options I am deciding between for rims for my car. The prices vary, but not to drastically. You all give me your imput. I have a Classic Red 2002 MP5 with a set of Eibach springs on the way. Let me know what you think.

Choice #1 - 17" Rota Battles, 19lbs. I would get them in the same silver color as SirNukes.

Choice #2 - 17" Msp Racing Harts, 23lbs (I think). I would be getting the 3.5 MSP wheels so ofcourse they will be darker.

Choice #3 - 17" 5 Zigen Copses, 23lbs. I would be getting them in the all silver insted of the white pictured here.

Choice #4 - 17" Motegi MR7s, 24.5 lbs. These are 16s in the gunmetal so you will have to squint your eyes and imagin them as 17" silvers.

I apologize for the liberal use of other users pictures, but hey, what are friends for! Thanks for any imput you have.

I threw in my own vote, I Like them all, But the Rota's and the MSP's just plain catch my eye. And between the two I think the MSP's (especially in the 3.5 color would look great with the Classic red Paint. I'm still not sure yet.

I see we think alike...besides...there's already a red P5 w/ motegi's, and sir nuke has those rotas, and the 5zigen's are u-g-l-y!

I LOVE the MSP wheels on a Protege 5... but the only problem to me would be tha tif no one on this board is selling, then it would be murder to get them at the dealer.

Go for the RH or the Battles...everyone seems to have the battles now though

ZiO - lol, I know what you mean. Im not to worried about them coming up for sale, I have seen them on sale on a few occasions already.

Razor - he probably hasnt had his first cup of coffee yet! You forget that you Army guys are used to the early am crap!

So far it looks like the 5Zigens are just not cutting it! I was waivering, but I think Ill drop them from my selection process.

I'm in the minority but I really dig the Copses. They are one of three choices I am deciding on myself.

I really like the MSPs, however what is your goal with these rims? All show no go? Remember that the MSP has more HP, so it can pull with more weight at the corners...Now I know that 4 lbs between RH and MSP is not much, but it's not like our cars have all the powerin the world...

In my opinion, Battles for weight and I am kind of partial to the split 5 spoke look...

If I had the $$$ right now it might be a consideration. But I am not 100% sure those are the ones I want yet anyway. So far these are top in the running.

haig - You make a good point, but Im not really planning doing any Serious autocrossing in the car, the reality is looks are a higher priority. I know what you mean about the split 5 spoke look, thats why its a real hard choice for me, I love them both.
