My car was stolen and totaled

What about a used Acura NSX? Great Car, Fast, 50/50 wieght ratio, blow the doors off just about anything you want to. :D Just a thought. Finding one will be a pain in the a$$. Maybe E-Bay or something.

Lan Evo

Im sorry but if you can wait, the Lan Evo VII is comming, and it will take almost anyhitng under 100k and its less than 30K. You may have to wait 6 months but itll be well worth the wait. Screw the WRX, or the american mussle, the Evo will eat them for lunch!:D

What about the WRX STI? I think the US version will have only 261 HP though. The J-spec STI has 276 HP like the EVO.

If I could find a NSX in decent shape for that amount then I might just do that. It is fast, but not as fast as it looks. I think everyone his hyping up the EVO and they are going to be sadily disappointed. It will be here with around 250 hp and still have the mitsu build qualty. I would jump all over the STI if it comes here before I would even look at the EVO.

I test drove a few other cars last night but nothing to speak of yet. Still cannot decide and this rent car is KILLING me. I could not get a ticket in this thing if I wanted too.

Just an FYI on the Evo numbers, apparently in Japan, they are only allowed to legally make the car 276 hp max. Granted, they make it more (and no one seems to check on it), but only list it as 276...that's why all the Jspec bad ass rides have factory numbers that say 276hp...I actually just learned this the other day (and i could always be wrong:rolleyes: ) but if you think about it; seeing multiple cars from different manufactures with 276 as the hp is kind of odd:D I think the Jspec Evos have dyno'd close to 300 hp stock (again, according to a bunch of VW forums):D  )

Scott you are 100% correct. The manufactures have to meet a certain hp standard of about 280 on certain cars.

When we get the EVO those numbers will be correct just like they were with the WRX.

that mustang is sweet. I would defintly go with whatever I could get the most horsepower out of stock. I mean, I spend lots of loot trying to get more horsies out of my mp3, and it would be hella nice to drive a cobra and eat people up on the road. :p
