It pays to have a good relationship with your dealer. :D

congrats, one of the 6 in Canada wow...

remember...Drive it like you stole it...but don't forget to break in the engine properly first...that's how too many Spec V engines had problems.

Just letting you know. The people who broke their engines in properly had zero problems with anything. Good luck, have fun. and I'll race ya :D

oh yea...show us some real times, and not magazine times for the MSP. With a proper launch, the right tire pressure, I think the MSP can go 15.0 pretty easily.

Would be a pretty close match for my car. :D oh yea...those stock tires, save em for track use only they're like SUPER sticky and gripy you'll get the best times with those. For normal driving...umm...unless if you want to replace your tire in 6 months...then...:D

Tell me once you by pass that lil boost limiter thing, and find a way to stay under emission laws (yes THEY SUCK, and in manitoba we're starting to be checked ><)

I wish you luck in everything you do...and I hope you wish me luck with Nismo's TC kit :)

Enjoy your ride, cuz it's your car, and no one else can say other wise.

I will get you some real numbers, I am not sure if our track is open, but if so I will head out next friday and see what she will do.

I will break her in properly, and will curious next year when I have to take her into AirCare (emissions testing) and see how she fairs.

As for the tires, I will be switching to winter ones pretty soon, but the stock tires in the damp last night were a lot sticker than I thought they would be.

Well if you ever make it out to BC post up on our site (mpsport.net) and I will be more than happy to take you for a ride. That goes for anyone else who finds themselves in the BC area.

Congrats Man, I'm so jealous. Imagine, a Canadian is the first one to have it :)

But of course we expect a complete personal reviwe of th car!

Compare it to the MP3. I'm hoping it's a big enough difference to justify the extra cash. More power? Any squeaks clunks? Steroe suond better? sub better?

Since I'm selling my MP3 before I see the MSP, I'm taking a big chance as you know....so basically, is it worth it?

Since this is my first post I don't know how much you'll trust what I'm about to write.

Anyways I just got off the phone with my uncle, he's a mechanic at Mazda. He told me that his dealership expects their first msp on Monday Dec 2nd. Since Digi already got his already I believe what my unlce told me is correct! Could this be one of the 6 ready in Canada. Btw I'm from Toronto.

What sucks is, i'm not first inline for the MSP at my dealership. Some dude ordered their's before me! Booooooooo :'(

cant remember where i heard that so i may be wrong.

Congratulation man!!!! I'm very happy for you!!! (thumb)

I saw the Mazdaspeed in real for the first time yesterday at the Montreal auto show. I found the color very beautiful. A very bright orange color with a big gold metalic effect over it. Very nice paint job!

Hey there...i'm from Toronto as well..and i'm the first one on the waiting list at Durham Mazda...Which dealership did you order yours from?... I haven't gotten a call from my broker which is getting me the car. So, personally, i doubt i'll get my car this coming week...

perimeter alarm is a standard feature!.
digi168 already proved it to us that doesn't believe that it is...
so, it's gotta be.

Anyway, as for the 'MAZDASPEED' Floor mats, i knew that Mazda was going to do this to us again!..regular protege mats..
Can someone tell me who the hell is taking our mats??.
It's STANDARD FEATURE!!!!.:(

:wtf:

Where could i get them if i wanted them?..
If the answer is 'through the dealer' then obviously, the mats that they are 'trying ever-so-hard' to sell was, from the car originally.
Such bastards.

Says right on the back of the brochure for the Mazdaspeed. Standard interior equipment.......etc etc perimeter alram. So, of some jackass dealer gives you a hard time, take the brochure right off their desk and shove it in their face for proof.
Here's a pic....

EDITED!

Damn that's a big picture

try clicking here instead.

My roommate has an '02 EX with the perimeter alarm and it is rediculously sensitive. You look at that car cross-eyed and that alarm cries bloody murder. I hope they tone back the sensitivity for the MSP or I'll never set it. What use is an alarm that is alarmed for no reason?

I seriously hope you're joking, or you're drunk or on some sort of drug...cuz no car gets by emission laws...unless if your state/provence doesn't enforce them, sadly here..they will soon...so emission laws suck!!! ><
