okay, I was looking at this pic and can anyone educate me on something here...

I thought when you turn the ignition off, the faceplate of the stereo rotates inward to hide itself. And obviously when you turn the ignition on, it rotates back out to reveal itself.

Ok, so why in this pic is the audio faceplate out when there is NO key in the ignition at all?

Did i miss something here cuz i thought it was supposed to be a security feature that the faceplate hides itself when car is not on???

Its a setting, it can be disabled. I assume it will be disabled to not confue un suspecting owners. You can always enable it.

i think the rotating faceplate thing is an option you can enable or disable.

Yep it is an option that you can turn on and off you can also set a delay before it flip overs. be prepared to read the manual on this one, it is not easy to figure out.
