OK- LOL- get this I filled the bottle Aug 8, use it in the car first time yesterday, needed refill today, now as it stands at this moment, im again down to 1/2 a bottle (19.5lbs with bottle weight)

UGH!!!

Course I was racing my friend in his RS Eclipse and an OLD ricer honda accord, in addition to a nicer eclipse with a huge stock spoiler...> :D beat em all except my friend in his RS. I was holding ground- he sucks at lauching and i had 4 people in my car and pressure was in the yellow.

damn dude that sounds expensive as hell? how much are you using it? arent you worried about using it too much on your engine?

(lol)
YA ITS EXPENSIVE!!

im not too worried at this point, although i have NOT even got close to redlining it, i know at higher RPMS= potential lean issues.

trying to aviod high rpms, but 2nite went to 6500 :)

I thought the protege was the opposite way, At high RPMs the O2 sensors a/f is no longer listened to to adjust the fuel and the car goes off pretermined fuel maps making the car rich. It was for this reason the turbo guy ( myself) need a device to stop the computer form pulling away extra fuel in lower RPMs (the FP voltage clamp)

I don't know N20 so I may have your needs ass backwards.

maybe possible, esp since our cars have two different size injectors.... anyone shed some more light here? higher rpm is safe or should i still be worried about running lean

Unless you changed injectors, I have the same car you do, MP3. Same injector. Either way when in lower RPMs the computer will do what ever is needed to obtain a 14.7:1 ratio. Thats why we needed the clamp. The extra fuel we dumped in by restricting th ereturn line did nothing in lower RPMS. The damn car saw ti was to rich and pulled the fuel away, up to 30%.

Is a large fuel injector comperable to the increased pressure, maybe, I can see the computer pulling pressure back on the injectors spray to get to the 14.7:1.

It's verry addictive..That's why you need to pick your battles..when you use the gas...I kill civics/accords (non v6) all the time w/ out the nitrous...Only on the turbo guys..or the cars that are obivously faster i use the gas with!!!

It's expensive by me also... $4.50 per lb..@ 10lbs..You can do the math!!

He has the p5 ecu..not to mention..he is only using a 50shot..He should be fine!!
:D

You are correct 1st...The car runs rich at the higher gears...But in 5th w/ nitrous..It can be dangerous!! The sudden hp..added!!

W/ the small shot you are running you should be fine..But that doesn't mean..see how fast your car can go w/ the nitrous tryin to do 130mph...But I am just goin on what people tell me!!

I very occasionally use it in 5th..

But 1st -4th is golden!! Just don't hit the rev limiter..or pow!!

1st is correct again..Same injectors..as the mp3/p5/protege
NOT the same w/ the Speed!

Those problems he talks about is not a problem for us..We have the jets that control the amount of fuel!!

Gotta Love NX setup!

Yep, linux is correct!

Acid, I ****** a little dog there, I ment to say lower RPMS not gears but gears too, to an extend.

How does the NX system aviod the computer seeing the extra fuel and lowing its own output pressure and volume?

i only use nitrous at WOT ...and u stated..That there are specific maps the mp3 uses at wot..And that's why the car doesn't pull fuel!

At high RPMs the O2 sensors a/f is no longer listened to to adjust the fuel and the car goes off pretermined fuel maps making the car rich.

As you stated..

GOt it,

The car has to be in the upper ranges not just with the gas pedal all the way depressed. Form FP's info it is dependant on load not throttle position.

well ya i could, but you all seem to expect some tire shredding video :D i'll see if i can get my dad (MSP) to race me :D

yeah, Nitrous is expensive, and addictive.
Turbo doesn't need a refill. But I am looking at the NX NTercooler kit - anyone know how much CO2 costs? I would hope cheaper than N2O.

MUCH cheaper and READILY available. you can get co2 from most carbonic places (Its used to carbonate beverages, remember)

should be cheap.
