My car ate my CDs....

gee that's strange.

i know from time to time my stock cd player all of a sudden spits out a cd when i turn the car on (ie rub it), but i cant remember them eating the cd's.

try disconnecting the -ve battery terminal, pressing the brake a few times (to get rid of electricity in the system) and re-connect it. maybe it'll reset the hu???

just wondering will it access the cd at all??? if not, then the cd has prolly jammed in the mechanism, common with auto loading, and stacker players, you will need to dissasemble the unit to clear it out

i think disconnecting the batt will do the trick...keep it disconnected for 5 mins...so it resets~ and eject the cd straight away...so it doesnt read a bad disc over and over again...

I sorta fixed it....There is a glitch...All CD's are new...I cannot eject Disc 3...no matter what CD is in Slot 3...it won't eject...damn...everything else ejected...
