My audio setup

Removed the stock unit and put a Pioneer AVH-P6800 DVD unit, with sirius sat receiver under the dash.

I also put in a 12" Phoenix gold Sub, with a Rockford/Fosgate 200A Amp.

Still running stock speakers, but I plan on putting some Alpine type S's or something like that in.

i'm just scared that when i put a 6.5 inch screen in the car it will give others another reason to break in the car...wish they had one out with a removable screen.

I agree...that's one of the reasons why I haven't bought the AVIC-D3 yet...I have a car alarm but that doesn't do anything to hide the screen in the dash...

It looks like in your pic it sticks out of the dash a little. Does it actually do that? (uhm)

It is sticking out slightly, due to a bracket in the back that stops it going in any further. I have to make a custom black peice of plastic to replace the one thats there as it does not fit correctly, and just sits on top at the moment. Or I have to remove the bracket in the back which I have heard done before, but i'm a little wary about doing.

mine doesnt stick out, i even have it anchored in the back. yay alpine (first)
