As I posted a few days ago, I accidentally removed some paint on my beautiful Alloy wheels. (Picture below)
My Mazda dealer was useless in helping, so searching the web I came up with a spray can of Dupli-Color High Performance WHEEL Coating, (cost about $7 at my local Auto Parts Store).
I masked out most of the rim and only aimed at the one bad spoke, and only applied one coat (so far, the can says allow 7 days to cure before adding another coat).
I am pleased with the results!
The color seems perfect, however the paint texture is slightly flaked (actually its very beautiful paint), however not a perfect match as the Mazda Wheel paint appears smoother. BUT it looks so much better than it did!
Sorry that the new picture is not at the exact same angle as the original, (and of course I have no idea if the sun angle is the same, likely not). (The repainted spoke appears almost white (but that is the sun reflection), it is pretty much impossible to tell it was repainted.
In fact it looks so good that I will probably spray a few more areas on my wheels that have small blemishes.
