Mazda CX-5 GT 2016
Hello there,

I just purchased a 2016 CX-5 GT and in trying to configure my audio settings, I've noticed that artist/album images do not appear on the infotainment screen when played from my iPhone 6 via Bluetooth or from an audio cd. I could have sworn I saw them populate on a friends 2015 Mazda 3. Do these images not appear for music or do they only do so when from specific audio sources?

I'd appreciate the help or any feedback.

Thanks!

Ive only seen the album art when streaming pandora. The box also populates with local radio station art ( not the artist but the radio station itself). Otherwise the box is empty, at least on my system. I havent yet tried music from a CD or USB so I can't comment on those.

I mainly use USB and the album art does show as long as I've taken the time and care to make sure it has gotten transferred to the flash drive (it's easy to get lost when copying files from hard drive to flash drive). I just tried from my Samsung Android tablet using Bluetooth and even though I know the album art is there on the tablet it didn't show on the infotainment screen.

I have a 2015 CX-5. I've placed the images in the folder on the USB drive, and they do not load when the album is playing. Is there something I have to do to associate the files?

Sorry.. no album art is displayed on the '13-'15s

Artist/album image does appear as long as your musical MP3 file created has the tag and set video thumbnail as MP3 cover. I use flash memory via USB but it's really depending on how the MP3 file got created originally.
