Got it Ben . I'm still trying to figure out the best place for a meeting place for us Oregon folks to Caravan up there. Hell would you mind hosting it ? Since that you guys are not that far off of the freeway and pretty close to the border.Let me know. Thanks

I actually live in Vancouver now, but buy this time I'll be back down in the Portland Area (Lake Oswego, right off of I-5).

Where are you located btw?

I can figure out a spot that'd be good for ppl to meet at. I know Portland pretty well. I should get on the 3 board and find out where everyone is. Off the top of my head I'd suggest Portland Meadows off of I-5.

I live in Lake Oswego in the Rivergrove district. I have 2 places in L.O. that would be good places ,one a friends shop and the other the GI Joe parking lot.The others are from down south and Mcminville and Beaverton and maybe some California folks. I'll do some more scouting. I have a really good place in Beaverton (Apex Restoration ) right behind Damerow Ford that would work but I guess we'll just have to see what works for everybody

Well Right on I-5 or between I-5 and I-205 would be the best central locations.

You don't want a bunch of car guys buzzing throuh LO man. lol

*I'll try to go over on the 3 board later.... I keep meaning to be active on there. But I get busy and forget. (plus the fact I HATE the board laying. ie, software used)

Got it and Welcome

This might be a good chance to test the waters for All Mazda track club that some people around here have been working on . Oh btw I got a close contact with a guy up in Auburn that might be able to help us at the Pacific Raceways track

So for the greater PDX/vancouver area who is planning to go?
Apple Blossom (for the Rotor heads) is on the 5,6,7th of May so the 13th works OK.
Anyone taking kids? My daughter wants to see St Helens.

Well everybody is welcome . I decided not to take my son because he's only 2 and I think that he'd get bored with all of the driving....

Never been to St. Helens... However I'm pretty bored and could possibly make it... Bout a month away now so who knows what might come up... I think it'll more come down to how many others are going...

If we can get a list of people going... when / where to meet... any more "details" about everything.... I'll know for sure one way or another...

I dont' have a 3... but speed6 should be ok i hope =)

Check here . http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=41943.0 There's about 39 people so far and yes a speed 6 will work just fine

Sign me up! I'll do my best to make it... Don't see any reason I can't... I hope we have reminders and such when time comes closer... I try to stay active on these forums... but you never know.

Also... are there any worth while car clubs in the portland / salem / corvallis / eugene areas? I've looked around on P.I.R. And some random searching... For the most part alls I see are Major sports car (complete custom)... or exotics... BMW / Audi club... Don't see much.. if any... along the lines of import / tuner (all welcome) clubs... And even less that are reasonably active...
