I'd take the IS300 over the TL. But, I really wish the IS300 Sportcross wagon had stickshift.

you started the flaming. you assumed no one in here knew about the IS300's 2jz-ge engine and shouldn't even be compared to the MSP because it's just another econobox. the MSP handles as well if not better than the IS300, and nearly outperforms the IS.

I drive an IS300 all the time... Great cruiser

The MSP has better gas mileage but the IS300 is better for highway driving

I'm going to have to disagree here. While I rarely read consumer reports I can tell you that I never had a problem with the car (its stock btw), and I never heard of anyone having any real sort of problems from anyone that I know that owns the car.

I gotta get a peace of this thread. 300IS verses the Speed. The IS is a beautiful car, and yes in another class. The Speed does however way out handle the IS, Mazda did a great job. Put a set of Recaros in the speed and your laughing.

This whole thread basically boils down to IS300 vs MSP. Hands down the MSP is the winner. But then again, different topic all together. This thread SHOULD be entitled, "Should I get a ****** IS300?". Me personally, no.

The guy is asking for an opinion and I say no, he shouldnt get an IS300. There are plenty of cars better than the IS for the price.
