Yeah, the base models look like s***. The best model tops out around 35k with all the options. You can pick up one with the good motor and apearance pack. for 29k.

But i noticed it said twin turbo in your post... is that the engine it comes with or just a mod you suggest

It comes with the motor. There are 2 motors I believe. The 1.9 and the 1.9 turbo. The curb weight on the car is only 2700 lbs, less than a MSP.

IS300 is a decent car but honestly, she should get a bmx 330 xi, they sell them with Dinani straight from the dealerships now, at least in chapel hill. My friend has a 328i with dinan chip intake exhaust, and suspension upgrade. It is a sweet car. Personally I always have these gay rich guys trying to race me with em(and lose), and i think they're really generic looking also. Remember the car is still a glorified toyota. Anything besides the celica and supra from them, i wouldn't want.

Well I still think the IS300 is a good car. Overpriced maybe but what car isnt. As far as the audi.... she likes the Audi RS6... shes got the taste lol...but thats a lotta cash. SO the IS300 is a happy medium. Were staying in the 30,000 range and getting something more along the luxury sedan lines.

She loves the Speed.. She gets a lil pissed cuz i like to drop a lot of money into it. The 1100 i just used to get the Wagner FMIC didnt go over to well but oh well. lol

I don't like the IS300 very much. Here's why (if you don't agree, too bad... you won't change my opinion):

1. The IS is too tipsy for my liking. It feels like it has a high roll center.
2. For having 215 hp, the IS is pretty slow.
3. It got the gas milage of truck.
4. I scraped the crap out of the muffler/exhaust (I never scraped on those same bumps in my lowered integra)

You are in the right category of cars though. Entry level sport sedans are the hot ticket item now.
