MSP vs. IS300

hahahhaha the coupe looks alot better IMO, but i assumed he was looking for a sedan, and the g35 is sweet, or the cheaper maxima but thats the front wheel drive version (yuck) I love the MSP, but if it were RWD it would be absolutely perfect.

for you guys making comparisons about which car he's gonna get, STOP ! his marrying someone that has an IS300 ! and he has an MSP ! so it doesn't really matter...both of them will probably just invest on both of their cars.

ok first off you guys are idiots, the is300 bone stock is pretty decent, at least someone on this forum knows that it has a supra engine! I am sorry, you would be an idiot to choose a msp over a is300. Reason one being it can be made into one hell of a sleeper, two you can turbo it, boost, and produce two times what the msp can't do in hp, and three it is a lexus....luxury sport sedan. Why do you people compare cars like this. That is like me saying should i buy a geo or cavalier. Yea, i know that i have an msp and i am happy, but if you had the choice an is300 would be the better decision. Not meaning to flame but our msp's aren't necessarily luxury cars, they are bang for your buck cars.(argh)

1. Take the spoiler off the MSP = Sleeper.

2. I personally don't give a rats ass about the Supra or its engine.

3. I don't care about 'luxury'. If you want luxury, get a Benz.

4. If you want luxury and performance, get an AMG.

5. If you want high HP, the car should be turbo'd from the factory or large displacement.

6. If you want a 2JZ-GTE, get a ******* Supra.

7. Just because someone doesnt like something, doesnt mean they don't know anything about it.

I have a MSP already.............Im getting married and then WE are buying an IS300 because she is partial to those.... I dont think we are gonna drop 10K under the hood lmao... but who knows...maybe we will. So its not a this or that issue.. its a this and that issue! I think that the IS300 is a beautiful vehicle. I have never driven one however. The TL is sweet but its an Acura and everyone has one.

ooh wow small details...just taking off the spoiler makes it a sleeper without having to take off the badges. the badges will create disbelief because the spoiler isn't there. and the MSP is 30K and the IS300 isn't 50K...more like 17K and 29K, respectively

I think he was talkin about the Supra though. Guys Im modding the MSP... the IS300 might get minor stuff but it depends on if she still wants to do that kinda thing. I was just wondering what the common knowledge on the car was. But ive learned a lot more than that LOL. I think my msp will smoke it anyways.

A couple of my close friends have IS300s. There like how I am on these boards (active) on there boards IS300.net. Here's a some pics when they were over when I was installing the fmic.

The yellow IS has the rare TRD coilovers and a injen intake. The silver one basically stock. I mess with them all the time when we are driving.

the is300 is a nice crusier....ur wife has good taste in cars...my buddy has a 450whp is300 runnin on a t78 turbo and a swaped supra 6spd tranny...his stock 5spd tranny when to hell after a few burnouts at 450whp (lurk)

yeah, the 6-speed from the supra is definately stronger than the 5-speed from the IS. overboosted supras that run 500whp and stronger still use either the auto tranny or the manual without much trouble.

yeah, the 6-speed from the supra is definately stronger than the 5-speed from the IS. overboosted supras that run 500whp and stronger still use either the auto tranny or the manual without much trouble.

We would have to buy another car to be a daily driver before we started doing stuff like that... maybe a Mini Van... lol
