is the manifold cast and if so how was it welded did you heat the manifold up when u welded it? I am very interested for my project all i need is the manifold and possible down pipe.

im not exactly sure my step dad welded it for me, he said he used a die grinder to cut a small recess where the crack was, than welded it. it held great i just got a new manifold is all.
