the airbags delpoy at 35 mph frontal impact. That is a direct frontal impact. What you have is a high speed sweep. See how the sheet metal is shoved off to the side? Actual impact was probably less than 35 mph. I have been working in Trauma and Emergency Nursing for 11 years and this is typical of all cars, not just the MSP. I have seen way worse than that w/o airbag deployment. Think about NASCAR (sorry) they are doing 190 mph but the imact into the walls is less than 70 mph due to the way the angle of impact is. Even Dale Sr's fatal impact was just over 70mph.
I don't think you have grounds for any kind of lawsuit since you didn't have any measurable loss, and the car did EXACTLY what it was supposed to do, protect you in a collision.
