How well does the light shine through there? I mean for your reverse and turn signal?

the shine through really well, the reverse light is very bright to begin with. i will take a picture and post it later.

That will be pretty sweet if you did the 03.5 conversion. I wonder if anyone has done taht to a black msp?? I've never seen one tho..But very nice car man!

why didn't you just remove the tail lights rather than covering half the car?

I did the same thing...well...sort of on my 5...but I went back to stock tails now.
Of course, every light that was clear or amber is now tinted or blacked out totally *+Ahem+ Long live the 'Panda'!!*.
Regardless, the lights functioned perfectly, even @ night.

I did not use tint...I just used high gloss black paint & clear coated it.

i found it to be a lot easier than removing the lights. I had the cover and everything i needed to paint them at work
