Now I'm just trying to decide between the Kumho MX's or Hankook RS2's!

I have the MX's, and they're wonderful as a compromise, but I commute a long way, and ended up having to replace the fronts in the middle of last season. Why did I compromise? Now I'm just going to buy a set of lighter wheels and victoracers, and just use the MX's on the street.
murph1379 said:lol, yeah they were supposed to be the "compromise tire", but weren't much of a compromise. I'll probably go to something with a higher treadwear when these die, but I'll miss them even on the street. The goodyear F1's sound pretty sweet at $90ea, maybe I should buy some and store them for when they're needed. =]

I just don't know if I can fit 215/45, that's the size on sale right? I run 215/40 and it's dangerously close to rubbing in the rear.
murph1379 said:215/45/17 is stock, are you running 18's? Not sure which size is on sale, but I think 225/45/17 rubs a bit when the steering wheel is fully rotated. I'd think 225/40 would be ideal, but I haven't seen any decent tires in that size. I'm going to get some 225/45/17 victo's for autox, but I don't think I'd run that size on the street.
