msp payments?

Car payment: $513/month.
Insurance payment: $359/month.
Down payment: $2000.

The look of a third gen Eclipse driver's face as an orange Mazdaspeed Protege kicks his ass: Priceless.

LOL ok
$20,000 is not much money in today's world.
I just didn't want a payment anymore. Can use the money for other things like fixing up my car.

Uhm sure! 20,000 is not a lot.....okay (cough cough). In 2001 that was my yearly salary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh 20,000 is not a big amount......yep.........if you freakin got it! If you don't......it is a lot!
Try having a kid and then tell me 20,000 is not a lot to pay off in a short time! Now mind you - not pay out, because with a kid you will, but pay off!

$7500 down, 5.9% interest, payments are something like $280 a month.

Damn, the guy told me my credit was tier 1, how did you guys get 3.9%? Credit Union?

Dude

I am 29 years old, Married, and I have 2 kids. Girl 2 years old, Boy 2 months old. $20,000 didn't hurt me at all. Now paying all the interest on that car for the next 6 years would not be cool. I can save all that money for my kids education.

I agree totally...If I didn't have a 0% apr loan on my Protege ES, I probably would have done the same thing. Seeing how you are 29, you probably waited a while to have children, so you would be more financially stable and still be able to afford life's luxuries.

Anyone leasing the car? My wife and I currently have two cars... IS300 and a S2000. Lexus paid off the 6 months I had left on my Audi A4 lease, I put down $1,000 for a 4 year 12k mile/yr lease and my payments are $400 a month. On the S2000 we put down $1,000 on the same lease agreements and it's $500 a month.

Right now I'm trying to sell the IS300 and save some monthly income for us to start a family, but if I can't sell the Lexus I have a Mazda dealership anxiously waiting to make a deal with us. Right now, around here, you can get 03's MSP's for $1,300 under MSRP easily! So I was hoping to get into a MSP lease with little money down for no more then $280 or $300 a month with them also paying my Lexus lease off. The dealer said that's it's very possible....

I think the MSP is a very fun car, but I just can't see paying $400 or more a month when I'm paying $400 now for a Lexus IS300..... But maybe there is a bigger monthly difference with leasing the car....

0% interest for six months
