MSP Paint Cost

How much would it cost to get a pint or so of paint from Mazda? Or would it be a better choice to get a body shop to whip me up some. Im painting a custom fiberglass box to match the car and was wondering if anyone had any ideas, or bought some before.

You need to get the paint from an auto paint store or body shop so there's no point to go to your dealer, unless they have a collision center. Look through the phone book, there are a few stores that will mix it and even put it into aresol cans.

I got a pint of unused black mica PPG Deltron base coat. It's quality paint. $65 its yours.

Yea, you'll need to give them the paint code. I think Black Mica is 16W

I have no need for it anymore so the sooner it gets out of my hand the better.

You can get the "paint-pack" from Mazda. Our paint is three different paints. Base coat, pinkish-clear w/mica flakes, and clearcoat. That's what my body shop had to get to achieve a perfect match.

Can you get me some pricing on some for the orange. i need to respray my back bumper and a scratches here and there.

I can't find my receipt, and the body shop can't remember how much it was. However, he does remember he ordered it directly from the Mazda factory. Any dealer with a body shop should be able to tell you over the phone.

Ok, my friend is buying the three stage paint kit $140, I think.

He is painting his Gixxer 1000 to match his MSP (spicy orange)

PPG, Sikkens, DuPont, or House of Kolor finishes are better if your are refinishing.

oh yea u shoulda hit us up. Linux, mic crispy and me were at the shop dropping mic crispys mazda 3. yea those are brands that make paint systems
