MSP Mileage Check!!

Bought mine in November 2003 right off the lot. Currently racked up 48,000 mi. Only 500 miles on the swapped out forged block and internals. Still breaking in the new motor.

I'm in Colorado, about 160 miles west of Denver.
Recently joined up with the Colorado Mazda Club.

You must have some amazing roads out there. Its bad here, literally a POLICE STATE. The pigs are EVERYWHERE and they pull you over for 7 miles over in the city and 10 on the highway.(no) They have removed all freedom of reasonable speed. All bout the money and CONTROL.

Its great. There are numerous windy, twisty mountain roads. Many are not regularly patrolled. Its great to open-up the MSP and enjoy the ZOOM ZOOM!!! The down side of living in the mountains is that my Ride primarily lives in the garage during the winter. So you got to take the good with the bad.

I bought mine in Jan. of '04 with 8k miles on it, and didn't drive it until nearly May of '04. Sparky just turned 100k three weeks ago. I've pretty much given up real estate appraisal, which is where much of that 92k came from. Compression is 189-194 and it uses just a bit of oil now.

Picked mine up 8 weeks ago with only 20300 on her! Garage kept and meticulously maintained by the previous owner.

Dolphin, you are the man! (bowdown)

I'm going to hit 36k on my way to Flagler today :( Oh well, cars were meant to be driven right?

On a side note, one of the campus police officers here at USF drives a Blazing Yellow that just hit 130k and its still tickin. I hope mine can last that long.

36k, are you going to drive it off the lot anytime soon or are you just gonna let it idle some more?

I'm a member of the 100k Club.

How?! WTF... I want to slap whoever you bought that from. You sure it wasn't rolled back or have a "new engine?"
